Friday was officially my last day of ministry on the World Race. Emotions were extremely high due to leaving these precious children that I have been working with for two months, I was able to do a lot of thinking through the goodbyes.

When I go home in nine days I don’t want to be ”done”. I don’t want to stop loving on those around me. I don’t want to stop saying the best part of my day was making people laugh, getting hugs from sweet kiddos, having random convos about how Jesus has been good to me in coffee shops, seeing miracles in front of my eyes, or telling people I have the best job because I just get to make people smile all day.
The truth is that that is still is my job. Yes, my time on the World Race is coming to a close. However , the race I am running with our father is NEVER OVER. The Lord didn’t need me to go all around the world to do what He has commanded of me. Yes, I was given the blessing of meeting amazing people who the Lord knew needed some extra love. And Yes, the Lord found and saved me in Thailand, Malaysia, Costa Rica, and in Ecuador. He also told me you are not done and I am not finished with you.
So often we find ourselves questioning our purpose or our ”true destiny”. I thank my father for showing me that my ”purpose” is this…To sit with the people struggling on the streets…To serve even when I have nothing to give. ..To love even when it breaks my heart. …To tell stories about the good news that is still happening today…To pursue Him even when I’m drowning in doubt. …To be bold in who He has made me to be….To die to myself everyday. And most of all to be a light.
So no, I’m not done running this race – His race that I have been called to be on. This experience has changed my life and has done so much more than I have ever expected. I thank everyone who has following my journey, funded me, prayed for me, and cheered me on for the past ten months.
I am extremely excited to share what the Lord is having me do in this next season of being in the United States, so stay in tune! There is definitely much more to come!!!

With much much much love…. -Han

  1. You truly are a blessing a precious gift and an inspiration. At each destination on your mission you touched the lives and hearts in all those you encountered and in your ministry brought Jesus to all you served. That is amazing and what in answering our Father’s call and opening your heart and sharing love with all the sweet kiddos you encountered and all you the people you met is a beautiful example of what we all should strive for. Thank you Hannah for sharing your journey and most of all for sharing your faith and love as well as being an example that we all have gifts that our Father has given us and are meant to be shared and the greatest gift is love.

  2. You’re not done. Looking forward to this next part of your story. See you soon.
