Hi there! I know it has been quite a bit of time since I have posted an update on this platform, so before I explain this title I’m going to give some updates.

MY TIME SQUAD LEADING

On July 23rd I officially finished my season squad leading. My time squad leading was one of the best experiences of my life. I went in expecting to pour out but I had no idea that the my racers and the people I would encounter would change my life. My heart has always bled for the next generation and to get to be in their space for the past six months watching their lives be transformed by the blood of Jesus was such a privileged. I remember siting in an english class in high school and one of my teachers began to talk about how there is no hope of the future because the students in that class were lacking so much. I remember leaving that class on fire because if our world is going to see real change one day then the next generation should be built up and encouraged. And that is exactly what I got to do the six months. I got to sit with 28 young adults who are passionate about changing lives through sharing the love of Jesus. I got to hear their stories, encourage them through the challenges they faced, and dream with them about what a lifetime of serving Jesus could look like all the while serving the people of Costa Rica and Panama together.

GETTING COVID

My original plan was to fly to Missouri with two of my friend and spend 5 days there transitioning back to the United States. You know… braving Target, letting Chick-Fil-A destroy my stomach, sharing stories, and having people who are walking through a similar process to support each other. Everything was going amazing but then about three days into being in ST. Louis I began to not feel well. At first I brushed it off because I thought I was just recovering from traveling but then something in my spirit told me that I should probably get covid tested before going home and sure enough I tested positive for Covid. So I ended up staying in Missouri for a total of 10 days and was able to fly home on the 3rd. I was so blessed to stay with an amazing family who embraced me Covid and all and were an amazing support team but my time quarantining was really challenging. I went from living with 28 people in constant community to spending most of my days stuck in bed sick but the Lord spoke so clearly during this time. I believe the Lord had a bigger purpose in this process which was to be still and be in His presence before going back home to thing that I would soon learn moving super fast. Sure that meant not getting as many days with my family as I would have hoped for. Instead, I got a great deal of time to sit at His feet and time for Him to prepare my heart for this next very exciting season coming up.

WHAT I AM UP TO NEXT!!!

Back in April I was sitting in an unfinished church laying on the floor and dreaming with the Lord about what a lifetime of serving him would look like. It has always been my passion to work with the next generation to make real change in the world and that is exactly what I now get to begin doing in just two short days. So with that being said I will be packing up once again and MOVING TO GAINESVILLE, GEORGIA TO WORK FULL TIME FOR ADVENTURES IN MISSIONS AS A MENTOR FOR THEIR SEMESTERS PROGRAM! What that practically looks like is getting to do missions on the back end of things such as doing travel plans, tracking the finances of a squad, following up on the well being of the participants, facilitating teaching, establishing culture in each squad  that I get to lead, and visiting participants on the field.

I couldn’t have imagined that I would actually be getting to do missions full time as a profession when I first signed up for Gap Year in 2018 but the Lord has just been that good to me season after season and I am so incredibly honor to get to work with the next generation of believers to go and bring kingdom into every community they encounter.

Along with working for a non- profit, I am going into a season of support raising on a much more long term scale. I know a bunch of you have been following this journey that the Lord has taken me on for three years whether that has been reading these blogs or participating in my fundraisers, or even making a one time donation. I have been so incredibly blessed to have people who are cheering me on both financially and spiritually. Whether you are reading a blog for the first time or you have been reading what the Lord has been writing on my heart for three years would you now take a second and pray for me.

Pray over the participants who I get to work with.

Pray over what the Lord is going to do in my heart over this next season.

Pray for the people who the participants are going to encounter. and pray over my finances

With that being said, I would love for you to consider partnering with me financially to invest in what the Lord is doing in the next generation. I would love for you to prayerfully consider joining my team of monthly supporters by clicking the donate bar above and selecting the monthly donor tab. or of course you can make a one time donation. If you have any questions at all or just want to hear more, or even need prayer I would absolutely love to connect with you!

You can email me at [email protected] or you can give me a call at (951) 212-6422.

Thank you so much
