Agape- The Highest Form of Love.
This month my team and I have had the honor to serve at an orphanage full of kids who have contracted the HIV virus. This orphanage will forever leave an indent on my heart.
When first arriving here I was a bit timid because a month prior, the kids I was working with would punch me, throw things at me while I taught, and would spit bad words to my team and me. So naturally when I found out we would be working with kids again I was not jumping up and down. Every week was heavy. We would clean the rooms of women who have passed away from AIDS. We would dust rooms full of where sick children would lay their heads. We would get to ministry and find out the kids we were once holding were sick in the hospital. But this facility radiated with light. We would get to ministry and have kids chasing after our car because they were so excited to see us. We were able to see children laugh just by throwing sand. We would try to speak in Thai just to be laughed at by the nannies. We had the privilege of painting the walls for children who would be learning English. We were able to see not only one but two adoptions. We got to hear stories of young men and women my age who have not let their past hold them back from chasing after Jesus. We were prayed over by four-year-olds who can barely speak English. Every day these kids chose to seek light despite their situation. Saying goodbye was hard, but knowing they are being looked over by an amazing Father is something to rejoice in.

Thank you to everyone who has continued to follow my journey and partner with me in fundraising. Please continue to pray for my team and I as we embark on our next adventure on Tuesday, pray for my finances as I am $4,000 away from being fully funded, and please pray for my squad as we prepare for our next God lead adventure in Malaysia.
